03/09/23: the pre-sales are over this Sunday 03/09 at midnight, but don't worry, there are still places to buy at the entrance of the site for all days of the festival

02/09/23 : there are still some volunteers missing to complete the weekend schedule, don't hesitate to register (your loved ones, your friends) via

02/09/2023 : WARNING: pay attention to the direction of traffic and the parking spaces authorized by the police.

02/09/2023 : Our dog friends are not allowed on the festival site, even on a leash.

Except for assistance dogs (visually impaired people, people with disabilities, etc.), kept on a leash.

01/09/23 : This year there will be no paper schedule distributed on site for each festival-goer. The schedule will of course be posted in several prominent places on the festival site. But if you want to have a timetable with you, you can download it here and print it if needed: 

01/09/23 : Do you want to lend a hand at the festival and be able to take advantage of volunteer benefits, but do you also want to be able to dance all weekend? We have the solution for you. Following withdrawals, the festival is still looking for two volunteers for the assembly. There is also some space left for dismantling. Welcome on the Marsinne Folk Festival Website, organized by Musiques et Traditions a.w.l.p.

Discover all the ingredients of the oldest festival of traditional music in Wallonia,

Whether you are an experienced dancer, an enthusiastic music lover or a one day passer-by, this is the place to be if you want to indulge in traditional music

in a peaceful and easily accessible setting.

A friendly and family-oriented festival with a unique and relax atmosphere and set in a spectacular location !

In 2019, the MELCHIOR project was presented, whose objective is to gather, digitize and make available to the general public documents related to the musical and dance heritage of Wallonia. A great way to showcase our local culture through its hidden treasures.

The different dance/concert spaces are called LEJEUNE, SCHMITZ, MELCHIOR and CHARNEUX.

In honor of important figures with regard to the history of our festival and to the Walloon heritage.
