What is Le Vilaret? It is a concept of "community" holidays created by the non-profit organisation Mains Unies, whose success has lasted for nearly 50 years already!
Le Vilaret is a canvas city (under tent) or in a lodge, with limited volunteer supervision, where each participant takes an active part in the success of the stay while respecting the spirit of Mains Unies.
The sites are chosen for their natural beauty, their potential for escape, and the possibility of enriching human contacts, far from any superficial tourist hustle.
To break away from the everyday, to reconnect with nature (but also with humans), to open up to encounters, to let oneself be carried away by the unexpected, all in a friendly atmosphere, in complete simplicity… This is the concept of Vilaret.
