Concert et bœuf dansé

soirée HAPPY WALLONIE

Carte blanche à Marinette Bonnert & bœuf dansé

Be/FR
An evening under the sign of Walloon music.
Marinette Bonnert is well known for incorporating a bit of Walloon into all her projects. This carte blanche was born from an invitation from Didier Mélon for a live concert as part of his show "Le Monde est Village" (RTBF La Première - Belgian French-speaking radio). She mixes the repertoire she learned from a young age with Louis Spagna, pieces discovered in manuscripts, and also some collected works, all adapted to a contemporary practice. She has surrounded herself with long-time musicians and friends to participate in this adventure: Pierre Challe (diatonic accordion), Aurélie Giet (clarinet, vocals), Michel Jacqmain (guitar), and Gabriel Lenoir (violin, vocals).
The second part of the evening, the "bal/bœuf", will be open to all those who wish to play Walloon music, much to the delight of the dancers. This bœuf will be guided and prepared by Marinette Bonnert, Gabriel Lenoir, and Aurélie Giet will lead you into the dance.

Quebec Ball

LA  BELLE IVRESSE
 (Fr)

LA BELLE IVRESSE is a duo of traditional Quebec music that brings together Corentin Boizot-Blaise (violin, vocals, podorythmy) and Colin Delzant (cello, effects). Drawing inspiration from the euphoria of gatherings and sessions in Quebec, the duo celebrates and transforms this music by constantly oscillating between the codes of tradition and an irresistible desire to reshape the framework. Sometimes festive, sometimes intimate, slightly distorted, the sound of LA BELLE IVRESSE creates a meeting space where the trance of the real mingles with the intimacy of gathering songs; tunes from archives or more recent compositions..

DUO NIEPOLD-CUTTING

 (BE/UK)

The duo brings together two great musicians and friends. Two strong personalities from the small world of diatonic accordion.

A meeting to challenge, to inspire, to resonate with the intelligence and playfulness of their respective universes.

Because the dance is listened to and the concert is danced to. Because the accordion is not outdated. Because the world definitely needs blends because there are styles but above all there is music.
